The Story

It's hard being the only gnome amongst all the elves working for Santa, and Gnorman gets pretty picked on (although to tell the truth he isn't the nicest gnome either).  Whilst out in the woods the elves leave Gnorman all alone...but they don't realise he has the sleigh keys and if he doesn't get back to the grotto in time then Christmas will be a disaster.

 

Gnorman embarks on a fast paced, funny pantomime adventure where he needs to enlist the help of the panto baddies (and the audience) to save Christmas.  

 

Gnorman meets 'Captain Hook', 'The Ugly Sisters', 'Scrooge', 'The Giant', and 'Professor Snipe' to name a few, and they all have to learn to embrace team work, empathy, and understanding to ensure everything ends happily ever after. 

 

We believe that wherever we perform the live theatre experience should be exceptional.

The Educational Twist

Throughout the pantomime antics we include PSHE curriculum areas supporting anti-bullying and encouraging teamwork and friendship.

 

Getting hold of friendship tokens isn't as easy as Gnorman thinks....especially when he is having to work alongside many pantomime baddies.  A couple of his difficult dilemmas include:

How do you solve the long standing vendetta between Captain Hook and Peter Pan?

Should we judge the Big Bad Wolf and the Giant before we get to know them?

Why are the Ugly Sisters so mean and what can we do with them?

​

With the help of the pupils and the "birds of yay!" a lot of fun and laughter is had, whilst learning goes on underneath the surface.

The Interaction

During the show pupils will continually take part in fun audience interaction. 

Can your pupils become part of the woods and outwit the robbers?

Offer suggestions, advice, and help Captain Hook and Peter Pan resolve their differences?

Help the Ugly Sisters find their beauty on the inside?

Our highly skilled performers are also trained facilitators to make sure that the interaction is fully engaging and also fun for all.

The show is for life and not just for Christmas so we include a free teaching classroom activity pack.
